We are looking for a Data Scientist Engineer that will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

 Responsibilities

  • Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  • Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using ML techniques
  • Providing custom analytics for individual clients as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Responsibilities

Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with at least 3 years of prior strong full-cycle accounting experience. Must have advanced Excel with a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and be willing to contribute to the good of the team getting any task completed.  Must have strong organizational skills, produce work with a high level of accuracy and meet a large number of continuous deadlines. Our Staff Accountant will be responsible for establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements using QuickBooks Online
  • Maintain reconciliation schedules in Excel; posting monthly detail in QuickBooks via General Journal entries
  • Manage all billing and collections, as well as Accounts Payable
  • Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing financial statements and other management reports with accuracy, consistency and within deadlines.
  • Manage revenue recognition spreadsheets. Knowledge of ASC 605 and SaaS revenue arrangements a plus.
  • Document policies and procedures.  Help write accounting manual.
  • Other ad hoc projects or administrative tasks as directed by the Controller or VP of Finance & Operations
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business from an accredited college/university
  • Strong accounting background (3+ years)
  • Expert skills in QuickBooks Online and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Other Adv formulas)
