NEW YORK, February 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Shareablee Inc., the global leader in audience-based social media measurement, today announced that AT&T led the January 2019 U.S. Media 100 Index ranking of the most socially engaged media companies. The Shareablee U.S. Media Index increased 11.2 percent overall and generated 3.8 billion cross-platform actions (post-level reactions, comments, shares, retweets and likes) for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter last month.
AT&T, driven by Warner Media, topped the ranking this January with 566.4 million cross-platform actions, followed by The Walt Disney Company (387.2 million actions), the NBA (348.7 million actions), 21st Century Fox (268.7 million actions) and the NFL (244.3 million actions).

Other Notable Findings:
- Buzzfeed led the video category last month with 1.2 billion views, followed by Disney’s 1.1 billion views in second, AT&T’s 699 million views in third, CBS’ 656 million views in fourth and Comcast’s 605 million views in fifth
- The top 10 most engaged American media companies accounted for 63 percent of all actions across U.S. Media during January
- Out of the top 10 U.S. Media Companies of the U.S. Media 100 Index, World Wrestling Entertainment had the highest percent increase in their cross-platform content (up 25.1 percent). And although the National Football League had the biggest decrease in cross-platform content (down 46.3 percent), it ranks highest for the increase in actions per post (at 65.4 percent)
