Latest US Sports Media Rankings See Social Actions Grow 7% in The Month

June 19, New York, NY: Shareablee has released the latest US Sports Media Rankings showing a growth in total social actions amongst the top 10 performers of 7% in May.

The Sports Media Rankings also show video actions amongst the top 10 performers are up 9% at more than 578 million in the month. Leading on 'Video Views' was ESPN with 710.1 million, or more than 400 million more than it's nearest competitors in this category.

Fox Sports jumped two places in May to reenter the Top 10, with 15.6 million 'Actions'. It also recorded the 5th highest result on 'Video Views' and a 35% increase on its April results in this category. Fox Sports' top video post with 73,200 views was as a clip of a Shetland Sheepdog from the Westminster Masters Agility Course. It also came in 5th on the overall 'Shares' metric, with 825,000.

Ballislife and Overtime both rose one place each to 5 and 6 respectively. Ballislife' top post was on Instagram, with an image about the Raptors making the NBA's Eastern Conference finals attracting 449,671 actions.

Overtime measured highest on the all important 'Actions To Fans' metric, with 8 times the category average at 806. Overtime's top post was a video on instagram with 358,000 views of LaMelo Ball with the Illawarra Hawks in the Australian NBL playing one-on-one with content creator Laurence Marsach.

Also rising in the top rankings was Slam, which rose one place to sit 9th for the month.

While it help the same position at No 4 WAVE Sports Media's result was notable as it grew its total social 'Actions' by 42% since April, from 57.4 million to 81.6 million.
